Outdoors exercise class with Bath Bootcamp

bootcampOn Satruday morning I was up and at ‘em with  Zita Alves’ at her Bath Bootcamp. What great fun!!

Exercising outdoors was fantastic for a change, with an added bonus of meeting new people. Normally at the gym people are heads down and concentrating on their exercise. Or in my case, I’m on my cross trainer at home its just me :-( but this type of outdoor exercise seems to allow the opportunity to mingle a bit. Don’t get me wrong…there was a lot of hard and rewarding exercising going on (I can still feel the benefits today), but I always enjoying smiling and saying hi to someone new.

I really loved this way of exercising and would highly recommend it to everyone, from someone looking to get fit to the most avid exercising enthusiast. Being outside was fantastic. And under Zita’s watchful eye making sure I was doing everything correctly, I felt like I was in good hands.

positivelivingbath A friend / massage colleague of mine mentioned she went to an amazing Ashtanga yoga class last week in Bristol, led by Nicole Aaron. I have subsequently found out that Nicole will be doing some classes in Bath at The Love Lounge behind The Bell on Walcot Street. Events there are organised by Positive Living Bath. I met Ian a few months back at a Kundalini Yoga class in Larkhall and I’m really happy to see he and his team have got this good thing going.

They are doing great things…various types of Yoga classes, Raw Food get togethers, a Transition group and workshops.

I’m going to check them out as soon as I can!!
