info@lizfostercoaching.com
If you want to know more just give Liz a buzz on 07974202731.

If  you haven’t booked your summer ‘get-away’ its a really great opportunity to do a bit of self-development work on yourself and mix it in with time out on the beach, whilst meeting new like-minded people and having a laugh!

What is this workshop all about?

In this five day workshop you will learn to love your shadow and step out of what is holding you back in your life.

We will be spending the mornings in workshop space…exploring how you live your life, how your behaviours limit you and how to have a huge shift.

The afternoons will be spent sunning yourself on the beach or exploring the local area.

Who is this workshop really for?

It’s for you if you’re interested in knowing what robs you of your self-respect, courage and creativity.

If you keep on repeating the same patterns over and over… and you’re fed up and want something to shift.

This workshop is for you if you want to have a massive breakthrough, switch off the auto-pilot and open your eyes to reclaim your power and brilliance.

What will you get out of participating in this workshop?

Uncover the Shadow that keeps you stuck in the past.

Embrace the power of your true authentic self.

Learn to move through and beyond your fear.

Heal your heart from painful relationships.

Rediscover your passion for life.

Fluid Fascia and the Energy Body Workshop

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

Date: May 22nd 2010
Time: 9.30am for 10am start – 6pm
Location: The Old Chapel, 125 High Street, Marshfield.
Cost: £55

I’m organising a CPD massage workshop for the lovely Susie Legge. If you’re a practitioner and you’re interested in attending, please contact me.

Workshop Outline:
This one day workshop will be an educational and exploratory journey into the most pervasive tissue of the body: fascia. Through meditative awareness and investigative connective touch, we will learn how to recognise fascia, passively stretch it and pave the way for deep trigger point work, free from unnecessary effort or pain.

The day will also include guidance on how to facilitate and support the release of holding patterns in both the physical and energy body.

About Susie:
Susie was first introduced to yoga philosophy and practice at the age of 11 when her parents met their master and trained as yoga and meditation teachers. Nearly 10 years later she began to explore yoga and healing work. Curious about the power of energywork, and fascinated by the workings of the body, she trained in shiatsu and a number of other healing arts, including Ayurvedic,Thai,Tibetan,Western massage and reflexology.

For the last 13 years, Susie has worked, studied and travelled around India, South East Asia, Europe and the Americas, sharing what she learns as she goes. She currently spends her winters teaching yoga and massage in India and the summers in Europe where she leads yoga retreats and massage training workshops.

Overcoming Barriers to Success – free talk

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Tuesday 23rd March,
5.45 to 7pm
Cafe Nero,  21-22 High Street (opposite Guild Hall).

Liz Foster, an Integrative Coach with whom I’ve done some fantastic personal development work, will be guiding you through the barriers to your success.

Bath Coaching Café would like to invite you to a free workshop to enable you to see what really gets in the way of your success and learn some tools and techniques so you can overcome the barriers and achieve the success you want in your life.

There can be many possible barriers to success in our lives. They prevent us from getting the job or promotion we want, they limit us in our relationships and stop us from living our lives fully. These obstacles may appear in various guises; internal blocks in the form of our negative thoughts, fears, low self-esteem and external blocks such as physical symptoms, stress and communication problems.

We have probably all come across these barriers at one time or another and found difficulty in overcoming them. It sounds simple but the first step is to recognise these blocks, uncover your ‘story’ and look at your old patterns. The second step is to start making changes, incorporate them into your daily life and lay down new patterns for decision making so you can achieve success and lead an energised and motivated life.

For the price of a coffee you can meet several coaches, complete a useful exercise and get the opportunity to start overcoming your barriers in a relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve just discovered these positive people in Bath

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

positivelivingbath A friend / massage colleague of mine mentioned she went to an amazing Ashtanga yoga class last week in Bristol, led by Nicole Aaron. I have subsequently found out that Nicole will be doing some classes in Bath at The Love Lounge behind The Bell on Walcot Street. Events there are organised by Positive Living Bath. I met Ian a few months back at a Kundalini Yoga class in Larkhall and I’m really happy to see he and his team have got this good thing going.

They are doing great things…various types of Yoga classes, Raw Food get togethers, a Transition group and workshops.

I’m going to check them out as soon as I can!!

Limited by not being able to speak in public?

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

john-dawsonI’ve just completed a 4 week course with John Dawson from Speaking Infront and I’ve really been WOWed!

I was raised by 2 very public figures. My Mom was a Speech and Drama teacher and was the Director for many a brilliant school play. My Dad was on a city councillor for many years which landed my parents as Mayor and Mayoress 5 times. So I really should have no problems speaking in public. But for some reason my flight/fight response really kicks in, my brain freezes up and I can’t recall what I want to deliver. I’m a pretty confident person so it’s been quite puzzeling to me why and what my hang ups are around public speaking.

Thanks to John and his course I know now what the issues are. I won’t give all his secrets away here but if you’re in the same boat, I highly recommend going on his course. Amongst other things we learned what’s actually going on in our heads when we get up there and that understanding certainly set me free.

I’m really excited now for a talk I’m doing in January when previously I would be dreading it! Thank John!
