Fluid Fascia and the Energy Body Workshop

Date: May 22nd 2010
Time: 9.30am for 10am start – 6pm
Location: The Old Chapel, 125 High Street, Marshfield.
Cost: £55

I’m organising a CPD massage workshop for the lovely Susie Legge. If you’re a practitioner and you’re interested in attending, please contact me.

Workshop Outline:
This one day workshop will be an educational and exploratory journey into the most pervasive tissue of the body: fascia. Through meditative awareness and investigative connective touch, we will learn how to recognise fascia, passively stretch it and pave the way for deep trigger point work, free from unnecessary effort or pain.

The day will also include guidance on how to facilitate and support the release of holding patterns in both the physical and energy body.

Raw food pot luck at The Love Lounge

I made it last night to the Positive Living Bath’s Raw Food Pot Luck at the Love Lounge behind The Bell. This is a monthly event organised by Alison, Jonathan and Ian.

I was surrounded by heart centered people and delicious raw food treats. What a fabulous way to end the weekend.

I’m not a raw fooder (I’m not even a vegetarian) but I have dabbled with raw food it a little and it was really great to get together with likeminded people and share our raw food recipes and experiments.

Outdoors exercise class with Bath Bootcamp

bootcampOn Satruday morning I was up and at ’em with  Zita Alves’ at her Bath Bootcamp. What great fun!!

Exercising outdoors was fantastic for a change, with an added bonus of meeting new people. Normally at the gym people are heads down and concentrating on their exercise. Or in my case, I’m on my cross trainer at home its just me 🙁 but this type of outdoor exercise seems to allow the opportunity to mingle a bit. Don’t get me wrong…there was a lot of hard and rewarding exercising going on (I can still feel the benefits today), but I always enjoying smiling and saying hi to someone new.
